Ms. Neiswanger received Her B.A. in Education from University of North Florida and her M.S. in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University.  She enjoys music, attending concerts, traveling, all things Disney and UF Gator football.  Fun fact- her parents and both of her sisters graduated from Apopka High School.

Cam-El  Resealia McKinney  [email protected]
Ms. McKinney graduated from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a minor in Psychology.  She began teaching at the middle school level and has been with OCPS since 2000.  While teaching, she decided to further her education at Nova Southeastern University.  She graduated in 2004 with a Master's degree in School Guidance and Counseling.  Mrs. McKinney is an avid reader who loves to encourage others and make people laugh.  She also enjoys traveling, retail therapy and spending time with family and friends.

Em-Harp Lisa Munyon  [email protected]
Ms. Munyon graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. degree in Rehabilitation Services in 1991 and earned her M.S. and Ed.S. from FSU in Guidance and Counseling in 1993. Ms. Munyon has worked for OCPS since 1994 and joined the Apopka High School staff in 2012.  She lives in Apopka with her family and enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Harr-Led  Michelle Taylor  [email protected]
Ms. Taylor graduated from the University of Florida in 1994 with a Masters and a Specialist degree in School Guidance and Counseling.  She started out working as a Guidance Counselor at Gainesville High School and then later moved to Kentucky where she worked at Jefferson High School.  Before coming to Apopka, Ms. Taylor worded as a counselor at Dr. Phillips High School.  She has been married over 20 years and has three amazing kids.  She enjoys hanging out with her family and running them to all their crazy after school activities and sporting events.  Ms. Taylor joined the Apopka High School staff in 2014.

Lee-Munn  Brittany Nathan  [email protected]
Ms. Nathan graduated from University of Central Florida with her Bachelor’s in Psychology. She then went on to get her Master’s at Nova Southeastern University in Guidance and Counseling. She worked as a Guidance Counselor at an elementary school in Palm Beach County for 3 years, before starting at Apopka High School. In her free time she likes to go to the gym, watch tv, attend football games, travel and spend time with her cavachon, Jasmine.

Muno-Reyes Jeanette Velazquez   [email protected]
Ms. Velazquez graduated from University of Puerto Rico with a B.A. degree in Education in 1987 and earned her M.S from NSU in Guidance and Counseling in 2015.  Ms. Velazquez has worked for OCPS since 1992.  She lives in Mount Dora with her family and enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. 

Reyn-Sto Tanya Tolentino   [email protected]
Mrs. Tolentino has been working for OCPS since 2013. She started as an ESE paraprofessional at Apopka Elementary and worked in other positions for 2.5 years. She then moved on to a more challenging career at an alternative school where she was for the past 5 years. In 1999, she earned her B.S. in Finance and International Business at St. Thomas Aquinas College. She then obtained her MBA degree and a graduate certificate in Human Resource Management from Walden University in 2008. While teaching and working in several positions at Positive Pathways Transition Center, Mrs. Tolentino’s passion for working with students grew tremendously which led her to further her education and earn a M.S. degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University in 2019. She grew up in Puerto Rico and in New York and has been living in Apopka for 12 years. She has been married for 13 years and has a blended family of 7 children. She loves helping and working with people, learning different things that will enhance her knowledge, listening to music, spending time with her family, and travelling.

Graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Cardiopulmonary Science.  I am a proud graduate of Apopka High School. I have been a high school and middle school science teacher with OCPS since 2007. While teaching I decided to further my education at Webster University. I graduated in 2019 with a Master's degree in Counseling with emphasis in Mental Health. I enjoy participating in a variety of sports especially basketball, I love to travel, and most importantly spend quality time with family and friends. 


College & Career   Kristina Roberts  [email protected]
Ms. Roberts is our College and Career Specialist.  She received her B.A. degree from the Ohio State University and went on to earn her M.S. degree from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.  Prior to working in education, she worked for several non-profit agencies that specialized in issues such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, foster care and group homes.  Ms. Roberts has worked overseas as a school counselor in Guam and Japan.  She joined the Apopka High School staff in 2015.  Ms. Roberts is married to a retired Air Force officer and has two sons.
